Podcasts and speech recordings often need a lower target loudness than music. LUFS Converter Pro offers the Podcast / General (-18 LUFS) setting – suited for episodes, audiobooks, and voiceover.

What the setting sets

  • Target LUFS: -18
  • True Peak: -0.5 dBTP (gentle default for speech)

If your host re-encodes files after upload, set True Peak manually to -1.0 dBTP for extra headroom.

Step by step

  1. Source folders: Add – any number of folders with MP3, FLAC, or WAV, including subfolders
  2. Destination (optional): without destination, the new file replaces the original; the original is backed up in _original
  3. Setting: Podcast / General
  4. Stay awake: optional – keeps your PC active during long runs
  5. Start normalization – progress and remaining time appear in the log
  6. Optional report – before/after loudness per episode
