Version 3.1.0 was a major step for control and speed. The current release is 3.3.0 – see the release post.
What was new in 3.1.0
- Analysis preview: LUFS, peaks, loudness range and suggested gain before normalizing. Filters for too quiet, too loud and already on target.
- Target file behaviour: Skip, overwrite, save with a suffix, or create only missing files.
- Freely adjustable peak protection: Enter a custom True Peak value in addition to the standard options.
- Drag and drop: Drop folders and audio files into the window.
- Raise only: Optionally leave already loud tracks unchanged.
- Maximum speed: More parallel tracks; one CPU core stays free for the UI. Format is preserved (MP3 stays MP3, FLAC stays FLAC, WAV stays WAV).
1-pass and 2-pass
1-pass is the fastest mode for large folders. 2-pass also checks the written file and stays more precise – both modes benefit from parallelism.
