That is a conservative choice for upload. If you enable the optional report, it shows the actual measured values per file.
Difference from Spotify (-14 LUFS)
The Spotify setting targets -14 LUFS – slightly louder. Apple Music targets -16 LUFS – slightly quieter. Releasing to both platforms? Export separate versions or pick the compromise that fits your material.
How to proceed
Add a folder of MP3, FLAC, or WAV files, select the setting, optionally choose a destination folder so originals stay untouched. Measure-then-adjust normalization adjusts the level without unnecessarily changing the dynamics of your recordings.
